Official Rules

No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Respondents must complete all tasks in order to qualify for any remuneration. Any attempt to circumvent rules or engage in fraud or deception of any kind will disqualify respondent from participation in current and all future studies. Remuneration, if any, of respondents will vary. Studies that are nonremunerative may include a drawing. The existence and terms of any drawing are described in the Survey Invitation.

Definitions

“Survey Invitation” Direct communication from an authorized i.think inc. representative which usually describes tasks necessary for completion and incentive remuneration. Communication may be via email or in written form. Non-written, indirect, or “pass along” communication is not authorized.

“Respondent Profile” Basic demographic information provided by respondents when joining the i.think inc. panel of registered respondents. Respondent is responsible for providing and maintaining accurate information, including current postal address. Only one profile per person is allowed. False, inaccurate or fraudulent information will result in disqualification from current and future studies.

“Panel Member” A respondent who has completed a Respondent Profile with i.think inc. No purchase of goods or services or assumption of contractual obligations is necessary. Membership is open to all persons both US and non-US citizens ages 13 and older. Persons younger than 13 may not be panel members. Children of current Panel Members may also participate with parental consent in cases only where non-personal information is collected and where specifically invited to do so by a valid Survey Invitation.

Participation Details

Participation requirements will vary by each study and will be identified in the Survey Invitation and online at the beginning of each Survey. i.think inc. makes no representations regarding the length of time necessary to complete a Survey but will make a good faith effort to estimate time, skill level, and equipment necessary for participation in each Survey. i.think inc. is not responsible for technical difficulties beyond its control, including but not limited to limitations of participants’ ISP, firewall, and web browser software.

Remuneration

If the Survey Invitation states that there is remuneration for completing the Survey and all Survey tasks are completed before the closing of a Survey, payment will be made as stated in the Survey Invitation to the name and address of the individual completing the Respondent Profile corresponding with the log-in information submitted at the start of the Survey. Panel Member is responsible at all times for name and address accuracy. All payments will be made by check in US dollars drawn on a US bank. i.think inc. is not responsible for renumeration once it is posted to the US mail.

Panel Members may designate an approved not-for-profit organization as the recipient of earned Respondent fees. Remuneration that would normally be due to the Panel Member from Survey completion or drawings will be paid on the same schedule to their designated organization along with the Panel Member’s name.

Drawings

Surveys that do not provide for remuneration or provide for nominal remuneration may include a drawing as described in the Survey Invitation. One entry per person or e-mail address per Survey is allowed. Allow 4- 6 weeks for notification from the close of the Survey. An attempt to complete more than one Survey per study will invalidate all entries for that person. Entry will be deemed to have been submitted only by the Panel Member with corresponding log-in information given at the start of the Survey. Odds of winning in any drawing will depend on total number of entries received. i.think inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any drawing without notice.

General

Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited and will result in that IP address becoming ineligible. i.think inc. reserves the right to terminate any Panel Member’s participation without notice if it spreads a virus or is otherwise technically corrupted or unfeasible. i.think inc. is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible communications or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions or failure or delayed, garbled or corrupted data transmitted by participants via the Internet. Survey data become the property of i.think inc. By becoming a Panel Member, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The application and interpretation of these Official Rules is in the sole discretion of i.think inc. and all determinations of i.think inc. are final and binding on all persons. These Official Rules are subject to change by i.think inc. at any time without notice.

Release of Liability

All participants release i.think inc., its clients, and each of their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this website from any and all liability, loss or expense with respect to or in any way arising from participation. i.think inc. is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Survey or panel membership application or any drawing or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Survey submissions or panel membership applications or drawings. i.think inc. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Survey responses or panel membership applications or data. i.think inc. is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in any Survey or panel membership application. i.think inc. is not responsible for cheating or fraud by any Survey participant or panel applicant. i.think inc. may modify or terminate any Survey or any panel membership, if, for any reason, the Survey or panel recruitment effort is not capable of being executed as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of i.think inc. which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Survey or panel recruitment.
