The i.think inc. database began in 1997 and continues to grow primarily through word of mouth. We continue to require a valid postal address in order to and to receive incentive. This simple validation technique is the beginning of an open honest relationship with our panelists.
Recently, we expanded our recruiting program to work with non-profit organizations. Members of these organizations join the i.think inc. panel expressly to donate their incentive earnings to the charity they specify. This has broadened the i.thinker panel outside the traditional internet survey respondent, including many hard-to-reach respondents.
The core of our recruitment philosophy is respondent respect: each respondent who takes the time to thoughtfully answer a complete survey is rewarded.
Respondents are incented appropriate to what they are asked to do. Sometimes this is entry into a cash drawing often this is an individual check. We are one of the few online research companies who still send out checks. Millions of checks have been awarded over the years. Friends have told friends who have told more friends.
Currently we have no formal webmaster referral program. We prefer to use sporadic short term efforts on an as-needed basis when we need to fill quantities outside the current i.think inc. pool.
